We all know that this building is an important element of the suburban area.

However, even regular cleaning and maintenance will not be able to maintain its operational properties.

Before making a deepening of the well with your own hands, exclude the following reasons: the construction of wells or a larger well in the neighborhood, drought, freezing or natural fluctuations of the soil.

Rate, a broken well or natural causes can be done in one month. If the water source is still dry, then you can start repairing it.

Preparatory stage

The ways of deepening may be different, however, before any of them the following measures should be carried out.

The first is to evaluate the feasibility of work.

The first thing to do is to dismantle the ground part of the well.

You also need to make reinforcement seams.

The inner rings are fixed with metal brackets, at least two for each joint.

Deepening with rings of smaller diameter

This technology requires a pipe made of plastic of smaller diameter than the size of the inner ring of the shaft, and at least one meter. A pipe of this diameter can easily pass through to the end.

In a pipe it is necessary to make not less than 50 holes in diameter of 20 millimeters. On the inside, place a stainless steel grid with small cells. This will be a filter.

Special for this work drills, otherwise they are called bailers, dig a meter pit and put a prepared plastic pipe. The top of the pipe should not be covered with water.

To pump water from the bottom, use the pump. For these works, an electric pump is suitable for working at depth.

After this, start moving the pipe down, drilling a well a distance of two to three rings in the shaft.

Next comes the cleaning: sand, debris, soil is removed, water is pumped from the bottom.

After the bottom is cleaned, lower the rings of concrete of smaller diameter than those from which the well is built.

Rings are fastened with metal brackets, special attention is paid to the joints of old and new rings.

Deepening the well on quicksand

This method is used when the water source is located on a complex area of ​​ground, the so-called sailing. The groove must be made by hand.

Buckets are used to clean the mine from the ground.

A plastic pipe with rigid ribs is lowered inwards simultaneously with the process of deepening.

Instead of a pipe, it is possible to use rings made of plastic with threaded ends connected by a waterproof sealant. As soon as the water starts arriving fast enough, the groove is stopped.

The opening between the walls of the shaft and the rings is covered with a mixture of sand and cement in a proportion of 1 to 5.

This work is laborious enough, cleaning from the ground is done manually. And since the soil is quicksand so as not to get stuck, it's necessary to work on a wooden raft or special swings.

Note that with this method the inner pipe will be along the entire length, unlike the first one, where the concrete rings of smaller diameter than the inner ones are joined to each other.

Final stage of

Having made the reconstruction of the structure at one of these methods at the summer residence, it is necessary to conduct final events.

With a mixture of cement and liquid glass, all seams and potholes are closed, debris is cleaned, a 15 centimeter filter is placed on the bottom( river pebbles, it can be replaced with coarse gravel).

This will fix the soil and reduce water pollution.
