• The number of taps. If you plan to connect not only a sink to the siphon, but also another device (for example, a washing machine), you need to choose a product with additional bends. For a double sink in the kitchen you will need a siphon with two pipes.

If there is a hole in the sink that prevents it from being overfilled with water, then you need to choose a siphon with a so-called overflow (additional hose for drainage). This function will protect the room from flooding in case you forget to close the tap.

3. The corrugation is attached to the neck with a long nut.
4. If you plan to connect to the washing machine, this is done using the branch pipe.
5. Next, you need to bend the corrugated pipe in the shape of the letter "N" and fix it in this position with a plastic clamp.
6. The lower bell of the product is fixed in the drain pipe.

After installing the device, it must be checked for operability and absence of leaks. You can do this by opening the faucet on the sink at full capacity and placing a paper towel under the siphon: this will make the drops noticeable. If there is no leak and water easily passes into the sewer, and there are no unpleasant odors, the device is installed correctly.
