When should lawn grass be planted?

There is no strict time for sowing lawns. Planting it in the middle zone of Russia is possible from May to October.

The average landing rate is 3-5 kg ​​per hundred square meters. Some experienced gardeners recommend mixing the inoculum with a small amount of sand so that the seeds are distributed evenly over the ground.

Others prefer to sow as is. Both of these methods bring good results. A classic technique: first, pour along, and then cross.

It is believed that this is the easiest and most convenient way to distribute the lawn grass mixture evenly over the surface.

And for optimum results, the seeds are additionally embedded in the soil with rakes to a depth of 1-1.5 cm.

Seed care

The first thing to do after sowing is to water the ground properly. It is important to ensure regular watering, but not to allow the formation of puddles.
