Currently, there are 4 types of fastening / 4 types of movement of the leaflets, according to which the type of partition is determined:

1. Rail - on the floor and ceiling mounted guide rails, on which the rollers move the leaf - the cloth itself( one orseveral, one way, in different directions);
2. Without threshold - the doors are hung to the ceiling profile. A flag is attached to the floor, which prevents the swaying of the canvas( visible in the photo below);
3. Folding view - door-accordion. The fixtures are on the floor and ceiling. It differs from a similar rail type in that the leaflets are fixed to each other, and when folded, one follows the other at the wall. This kind saves space better than others, especially in one-room apartment, studio;
4. Sliding and sliding. It is worth remembering the side door of the minibus "Gazelle".The door in the cabin is made on the same principle as this type: opened-pushed and led to the side until it stops. Hermetic option in the sense that it isolates sound, while remaining, in fact, movable construction, and not a wall.

Material of manufacture

No matter what the partition is made of, in most cases it has a glass in its construction. Solid interroom partitions from the whole tree are not enough that heavy, so also light does not pass.

• Frames from an aluminum profile. Light, tough and very durable. They do not lead from humidity, which often happens with wood. On the frame of aluminum, you can apply any decor and the same wooden bars - the design will be both light and wooden to the touch. Aluminum is more common than others: glass inserts in aluminum frames are popular in offices and at home;
• Frame made of MDF.It is covered with veneer from beech or oak, has different tones and colors and creates a solid appearance, while remaining simple and, importantly, very affordable in the price plan design;
• Plastic. Plastic interior partitions - a good option: the plastic frames are light and durable, and you can decorate them with anything - at least a tree, even if you put glass sheets. A cheap but good option for the studio;
• Frameless partitions( glass).Tempered glass thickness of 8-12 mm is extremely strong and rigid: when moving to the side it does not rattle. Used in offices and homes, especially for the separation of the bathroom( though, you need a more turbid glass).Such partitions mist up, but it is easy to wash, a profile of stainless steel is used. Glass partitions are more common than others. Glass appears in a variety of variations. Frosted glass - light greenish or silver hue allows you to combine patterns and colors. You can find just a solid frosted glass, which looks no less stylish. Glass stained glass is an expensive option. You can make an image from individual colors using different glasses, but such a decor is rare - the price is high, and not every interior can be placed a partition. Partial matting - in this case the rule applies: either all the glass is matted, or partially. Glass partitions have two significant drawbacks: they are markable( even the impression of a clean palm will be visible) and repair is almost impossible - if the glass is cracked, then it will most likely have to be changed entirely, so that at so large prices the whole glass( not the smallest) will flyin a pretty penny.

We list all the features of the installation:

• The thickness of the screed is taken into account - in other words, the height from floor to ceiling in the installation site.
• Large partition walls require careful work: if the width of the opening is 1 meter, the deviation of the ceiling from the floor along the parallel is 1-2 mm, this is not critical. Another thing - an opening width of 3 meters, which will automatically force you to level the cant and / or the floor in the place of the opening.
• Large construction weight: it is by and large the design of solid glass. A square meter in the glass version can weigh at times under 50 kg! The weight of the structure will be on the wall( interior partitions that go off the wall to the side) or the ceiling( sliding inside the opening).If the wall of attachment is not brick / concrete, then it is necessary to strengthen the opening: a metal frame frame is placed in the opening.
• If there is a need to put a partition( any) in the surroundings of false walls or plasterboard, then it is necessary to stretch the rail to support the partition between the walls. It is impossible to admit in principle a single fastening with the participation of plasterboard - either a strong supporting wall / of brick or concrete, or a complex frame for supporting the guides.

Speaking of partitions, the essence of the design of the house with their participation is simple - something from something to separate: the office of the chief from the whole office, to separate the kitchen from the rest of the living space( especially in the studio, so that smells do not settle).
