Next, you need to build a frame for noise insulation. To create a skeleton, you need a profile that must be a couple of centimeters away from the wall. As you know, gypsum board does a good job of soundproofing walls, especially when parts of this building material fit tightly to each other.

Before you start the construction work you need to understand that for wall paneling the panels require a perfectly flat wall. Otherwise, you will need to create a crate. The crate itself is a wood frame, similar to the metal structure for drywall sheets. Wood blocks are attached to the wall using dowels or screws. The design should be reliably located on the wall, since the panels have a decent weight.

The main advantage of this method of sound insulation is the decorative component, which leaves far behind the plasterboard and other ways of finishing the walls. At the same time, the panels do not guarantee an ideal sound insulation of the dwelling, since this is just an additional layer for the wall. If possible, you can place noise insulation material in the crate, this will improve the situation somewhat.

These panels are very expensive, their cost starts from 1000 rubles per 1 sq. Km.m. If the room is small, then this option is quite good.

Pasting noise insulation material

Now in stores you can often find rolls with noise insulation materials. They need to be pasted on top of vinyl wallpapers. On average, a roll of noise insulation will cover 7 square meters.m. walls, which is noticeably more profitable than the previous method. Experts in the construction industry argue that this material reduces the level of extraneous noise by only 60%, so it will be difficult to seriously compete with the two previous designs for these noise insulation rolls.

On the other hand, this is a good option, if the walls of the dwelling and so well cope with the isolation of sound.
