Here the main thing you need to know is its diameter, stem length and the size of the landing part. The best option is to have an old cartridge with you when you visit the store as a sample. Knowing how many different models and mixer versions are available, it is clear that if the seller is explained "on the fingers", what exactly we need, then he may not understand correctly.
Cartridge replacement process

The first thing to do is to stop the water inlet taps in the apartment( the so-called input ones) and make sure that the water does not flow to the cranes of the parse. Now you can start working. We must now unscrew it. It's easy to do with the help of long-nose pliers, the adjustable wrench, everything depends on the mixer model.
If the parts are loosened with difficulty, they are "stuck", you can use such a tool as WD-40( "liquid key"), which is sold in the form of spray cans. This tool quickly corrodes scum, rust and makes it easier to unscrew any fasteners - just wait a few minutes.
