Typically, the butt glue wallpaper is tight, often quite expensive. Therefore, when pasting any surface in a butt-end manner, you need to know some secrets so that the result of work will please the eye, and not upset because of wasted time and money.
The preliminary procedure is the same for any kind of wallpaper and any method of gluing. It consists in a thorough cleaning and leveling of the surface, which will be glued to the new wallpaper. From how the wall( ceiling) is prepared, in many ways depends on how the wallpaper will look on it. Do not allow any roughness, convexity, seizure. Sticking nails, screws should be removed.
The adhesive should be prepared in such a way that it does not have lumps;it should be a homogeneous thick mass. Instructions on wallpaper( or shortcut), as a rule, recommend this or that kind of glue. There are also universal adhesives, which are much more convenient to use.
When attaching wallpaper "butt" there is one feature. This method does not require binding, starting from the window. You can stick, starting from any place in the room. Experts recommend starting with a corner, preferably with the one that is located closer to the window or door. The distance from the corner is about 30-40 cm.
