If there is a dacha, this does not mean that it only needs to work. Sometimes you want and just relax, and - a good rest. And what kind of "good" vacation without shish kebabs? Personally, I respect kebabs very much, and they turn out well for me, so I finally had to build a reliable permanent BBQ.I decided to make it stationary, because I was not going to constantly "drag" it from place to place.

At first I thought to address to experts, and I studied all offers - forged braziers, barbecue complexes from Forester and other manufacturers. For myself, I concluded that it is much better to make a brazier yourself than to pay a fairly large sum for it. Having carefully studied the principle of building a brazier, I was even more convinced in the opinion that it was necessary to do construction on my own.

First thing was determined with the place. The brazier should not interfere with the "working process" at the dacha, this is in the first place. Secondly, you need to do it with a "roof over your head", so as not to depend on the mood of the mother weather. And, thirdly, it is desirable to have some source of water nearby. Considering all this, I stopped at a very convenient place, in my opinion. In the corner, near the fence, there is a gazebo in the cottage. Next to it there is a bit of free space, so I decided to make a brazier next to it.

The first thing that seemed convenient when choosing a place - in the arbor is a small table, benches. So ready to eat shish kebabs is not necessary. Secondly, an external water supply pipe runs alongside. Put a tee, shut-off valve and a piece of pipe curved under the tap - it's not so difficult. And the third argument - over the brazier is easy to install a canopy, if it is done as a "continuation" of the roof of the arbor. So you can not think of a better place. You also advise you to follow the same principles when choosing a place in the country.

Material for brazier

Now the question of what to do. In my opinion, the simplest solution is a brazier made of bricks. Iron - it is iron, and hence, in time - and rust. Buy a stone - again, you need to pay. A brick well holds heat, heat, and find it is not a problem. In order not to interfere with the wind, I decided to still fence the place of installation of the barbecue, dig in two pillars, and all the cases.

First of all prepared these pillars, but it's loudly said. I took two wooden beams, soaked them well, and one part of each, which will be in the ground, also grinded. After that, he wrapped the ends with a ruberoid and put them into cooked holes. He poured fragments of bricks, tamped them all, they stood securely.

Let's begin the construction of the brazier

Now let's get to the brazier. I did not begin to build something out of the way, although they make barbecues and universal, make barbecue. I built the simplest, actually, more complex ones - this is for delights, and we are not yet accustomed to preparing steaks.

I started, of course, with the markup: I determined the contour of the future brazier and dug out the groove under the foundation. Given that the "structure" will not be grandiose, not massive, the foundation made simple. He fell asleep a broken brick interspersed with a large gravel and filled it all with a solution. Even the concrete mixer, as the "pro" warned, was not needed.

The old metal trough is the most versatile concrete mixer for all time. The main thing here is to maintain the same level along the entire length of the basement so that the brazier does not turn out to be a crooked one. This is done with the help of an ordinary building level. Yes, before I fell asleep on the trench, I laid it out with a ruberoid so that the solution would not go to the ground.

Now proceed to laying the brazier. Do not forget that I was doing the easiest brazier. Therefore, on the eve of a good pour all the bricks with water, because dry brick stack specialists are not recommended. The most important is to lay out the first row exactly. All the rest are staggered relative to each other. Of course, every laid-out row I checked level. At the height of the fourth row, I put thick metal rods between the side walls. I had to knock out grooves in the bricks beforehand. This we will have a brazier. I made the roof of the barbecue from the iron hood, like the ones that are installed in the kitchen, I ordered from a familiar tinsmith.

A common roof over the structure was made of galvanized iron, attached to the top of the gazebo, upstairs led the pipe from the hood and put the fungus to prevent the rain from flooding. On the sides also fenced off the place with galvanized sheets.

So, the materials for the brazier I needed a little, basically:

  • cement;
  • brick;
  • gravel;
  • sand;
  • wooden beams, roofing material, a bit of resin;
  • galvanized iron( 3 sheets);
  • hood with knee.
I do not specify the dimensions, as each will have its own place for the barbecue, which will determine its dimensions. The main thing is that it does not interfere and was convenient for cooking shish kebabs. Soon the dacha season will begin, so it's time to do it! First, try to do yourself, and so buy a good brazier you always have time, the blessing of offers is now mass.
