Types of platbands
The interior uses a variety of platbands. They differ in the material from which they are made, in shape, color and quality. Usually for framing doors or windows use either wooden or plastic trim.

How to cut off the platbands yourself without the help of the
chair If you can not use the chair, you can do it yourself or do it completely without it.
To properly cut off the frame without using a special tool, you can use the usual markings on the wall and at the same time get a good result.
For work you will need:
- Pencil;
- Roulette;
- Ruler;
- Hacksaw.
To perform the work, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions.
Step 1. We adjust the bar to the wall, where it will be fixed, and draw a small line along it.
Step 2. Now, exactly the same way you need to draw a line, attaching the second clypeus to the place where there should be an angle.
Step 3. When everything is drawn, you should get a markup on the wall that looks like two crossed lines. The point where these lines intersect should be transferred alternately to two bars.
Step 4. The wrapped mark and will be the cut line, for this, from the mark and to the other end, draw a line and cut off.
Step 5. Apply the two parts of the bar to the wall, to correct the angle, if suddenly there was no docking.

There are only four ways of fastening such a frame:
- Finishing nails
- With liquid nails.
- Self-tapping screws.
- Use of clypees on snaps.
Installation with the help of finishing nails is the most common method. In work it is recommended to use nails 4 centimeters in length and not more than 1.5 millimeters in diameter. The holes are drilled at a distance of 5 to 7 centimeters, after which the nails are hammered in, but not to the end. Now you need to remove the nail heads with side cutters and mask with the wax pencil the same color as the bar itself.
If the surface of the wall, to which the framing is perfectly flat, and the strips are made of MDF material, then the method of attachment to liquid nails is suitable. To do this, it is necessary to put such nails on the wrong side of the bar and fix it to the wall, holding it for a while. After that, you should fix the frame with adhesive tape. This method is rather simple and its main advantage is that the front part will not be subjected to mechanical influences. But when it is removed, it will take a lot of effort.
Tip! Attach the clypeus first to the wall and mark its outer side. After the clypeus can be removed, and pasted on the contour paint tape - it will be easily peeled off, leaving no traces, even from the most capricious surfaces, but if liquid nails appear somewhere, you do not have to rub the glue off the wall. It will be enough just to remove the adhesive tape.
To attach the clypeus with self-tapping screws, it is necessary to make not very deep, but wide enough holes. It will be necessary to ensure that the self-tapping screws are not higher than the framing itself. To zadekorirovat screws, you can buy special caps on them of the same color as the bar itself. It is recommended to use self-cutters 2 centimeters in length and no more.
The door frame on the snaps looks like the letter "G".It is fixed extremely simply, which is a plus. Its "beak" moves into the hole and snaps into place. The downside of this method of fastening is that it is not so easy to remove it, and when it is reinstalled, the casing may become exfoliated, and subsequently it will not look beautiful.
