- OSB-2 - having a higher density, therefore they are used as bearing structures used inside dry premises.
- OSB-3 - as the reviews show, is by far the most common and it is most often used to build walls, partitions, capital bearing structures. Such building material can be used in rooms with high humidity.
- OSB-4 is a very moisture resistant board that is used to work under heavy load.
Without exaggeration, we can say that the properties of the OSB plate are simply unique. If you compare the technical characteristics of OSB slabs, you can see a difference between them. Classify this building material by thickness, which also affects the area of its use. The standard dimensions of the sheets are 2500 x 1250 mm, and in thickness they can be from 6 to 26 mm.
Advantages of
Among the advantages of the OSB board are the following:

Disadvantages of
Sometimes talk about the disadvantages of OSB slabs, among which is called basic - the use of synthetic resins that contain phenol. Phenol does indeed release carcinogens, but today manufacturers are trying to produce this building material without formaldehyde. Such OSB plates are designated by the ECO marking.
