Master-wagon, since 2003 I have been engaged in the repair and decoration of premises, more than 100 completed facilities. I value quality more than quantity!

Hello Andrey!

There are several types of polypropylene pipesdesigned for different operating conditions. Nominal working pressure is indicated in their marking. The numbers 10, 16, 20 and 25 next to the letters PN indicate the pressure in bars that the product can withstand for a 50-year service life at a water temperature of 20 ° C. In fact, the pipe is able to withstand the specified pressure only within certain temperature limits. An ideal option would be to use products reinforced with aluminum or fiberglass.

It follows from this that, despite the fact that the working pressure in the heating system of a multi-storey building is not more than 10–12 bar, use of pipes PN 10 and PN 16 is unacceptable precisely because of their inability to withstand high temperature. The PN 20 pipe can withstand temperatures of 95 ° C, but it is not recommended to use it in a heating system due to the high coefficient of thermal deformation. This means that only a PN 25 pipe with a special reinforcing layer is suitable for a heating system.
