Master-wagon, since 2003 I have been engaged in the repair and decoration of premises, more than 100 completed facilities. I value quality more than quantity!

I had a similar situation with a cold water meter, I managed to revive it, I poured it into the meter through the hole removed filter plugs ordinary vinegar, after half an hour washed with water and twisted, that is, it was a pollution from hard scale water.

Hello. I have such a situation. The hot water meter stopped spinning, but the water was running. A specialist was called by the company that carried out the verification. "Specialist" said that the problem is in the check valve. He cleaned everything. Everything is working. The service costs 1,500 rubles. I wrote out a receipt. I appeared in the apartment when all the “work” was completed. After my question: “What is the reason how the non-return valve affects the meter failure, as it is installed in the piping system after the counter, and what did he do? ”- the specialist replied that the check valve“ is put into the pipe ”, advised me to go to the Internet and "Google". After this answer I had to speak with him in a raised tone, and find out why I should "google", and not get an exhaustive answer from the "specialist". As a result, unfortunately, I did not receive an answer - how the check valve caused the meter to malfunction. After his quick departure, I found a receipt for a cash register order with no basis for the work performed. I did not find the acceptance certificate. My question is: “Can the non-return valve cause a malfunction, is the receipt valid without indicating the work done”? I plan to "promote" this issue with the higher management of this "specialist". Thank.

There is another reason for stopping the hot water meter... I installed Betar meters. Two years later, with a short interval (I have two risers), they began to slow down, and then completely got up. I will not go into the details of my investigation, but it turned out that the impeller rotates, and the counting mechanism does not work. The reason is a design and production flaw (CPN) of the manufacturer. The impeller is plastic, the axis is metal. Miscellaneous linear expansion. The impeller rotates on the axis. The axis is obviously smooth. If there was knurling on the axis, then the counter would not have a price!!! But if you get to the impeller with a screwdriver with a thin sting, and hook it on the axis, then the counting mechanism starts to work properly.
