The first way to assemble
To begin with, a small foam is prepared. Suitable material that is used for the insulation of balconies and soundproof plasterboard partitions. It cuts out a blank of this shape, which will depend on the vessel you have chosen as a reservoir for paint. For these purposes, you can adjust any bottle with a suitable capacity. It is desirable that the neck is wider, the wider, the better. The element, which is cut from the foam, must tightly wrap the bottle. A few holes are drilled on the workpiece.
Important! The holes must be drilled precisely, as other methods will damage the foam.
The first hole is made from above, an empty rod is inserted into it, for example, an empty reservoir from the pen. The second hole is drilled horizontally and an emptied pen casing is installed in it. You can use any cheap items for this, after all, if you use expensive accessories, then the paint sprayer with your own hands does not make any sense. Next, the tank is filled with paint. It is sprayed onto the work surface by means of blowing into a tube made of a pen. This is one of the options how to make a spray gun yourself.
Another version of
Homemade paint sprayer can be done in another way. The homemade spray gun assembled for this technology will be more versatile than the spray gun made in the first way. It is created on the basis of a glass or plastic bottle. The neck must be at least 20-25 millimeters. Further, an aluminum or copper tube with a diameter of 4 millimeters and a length of 20 centimeters is bent and attached to the balloon from the hairdresser's sprayer or to the hose of the vacuum cleaner. At the upper end of the tube is put on the nozzle, which can be turned from brass.
Note! The nozzle is best done with different hole diameters, as this will allow the tool to expand.
After this, the socket from the plug connector is taken, and a tube with a diameter of 2 millimeters is inserted into it. A steel bracket with a hole for the nest is made of steel. The upper end of the tube comes down to the cone and is cleaned. Further, all the finished parts are collected with a vial, adjusting the position of the suction tube so that the upper end is on the axis of the nozzle. The suction tube is glued or soldered to the socket, and the nut is tightened. Everything, a self-made paint sprayer is assembled and ready for work.
Spray the paint yourself, why do you need it?
Now that we know how to make a sprayer, let's see in what areas it can be applied:
- Painting furniture and other wooden surfaces;
- Car painting;
- Creating dense structures.
It's easy to make a good paint sprayer with your own hands, but the benefit is great. So, when painting a car, it will save money, because the paint is quite expensive, and with the purchase of a special sprayer the price will increase. According to statistics, the use of factory spray guns does not always give a guarantee of high-quality painting. Often, streaks and irregularities remain on the surface. A homemade tool can cope with this. However, of course, not only the instrument, but the ability to use it correctly, affects quality.
This applies not only to painting the car, but also any other procedure. The main thing is to have some skills in this area in order to do a good job. Therefore before painting it is recommended to be trained on any unnecessary material and to work out the technics. Note! Use with safety eyewear and a respirator.
