How to paste wallpapers to make the picture coincide

Before you post wallpaper, add a finished picture on the floor and pay special attention to the fact that the individual fragments match in color. Even minor deviations( and this, unfortunately, happens), can lead to the fact that the whole picture will be spoiled, and already in the finished form on the wall will constantly attract the eye with this mismatch. In the end, you still replace it with a new one.

If you find a mismatch - take the acquisition to where you bought it. You owe them either to replace or return the money. And it is better to choose another story, because this defect with inaccurate shades can be repeated throughout the game.

The second most important point is to see if the joints coincide. Note that most manufacturers produce kits that do not imply joints, but are placed with a 2 mm gap that must overlap the next blade. But do not forget to consult the instruction, which must be! Check the coincidence - both horizontally and vertically, so that the drawing does not "lead".Everything is fine? So, you are waiting for the next stage - sticking photo wallpapers on the wall.

How to glue the wallpaper

Before starting to work, you need to decide on the question - what to glue, because this largely depends on the appearance and life of the coating. As a rule, if you have ever dealt with conventional ones, you already know roughly how to glue wall-papers on a wall, because these works are in many respects similar. Otherwise, sticking photo wallpapers on the video will help you understand all the nuances.

The brand of the mortar needed for high-quality adhesion to the wall is often indicated in the instruction, the universal one is used mainly for wallpapers. Experienced builders recommend taking a natural, rather than a synthetic basis. The fact is that after a while the low-quality glue can appear in the form of yellow spots. Also, sticking photo wallpapers requires a slightly thicker consistency of the solution than conventional paper.

Technology of sticking photo wallpapers

Let's figure out how to correctly paste wallpaper in the kitchen or in another room in stages.

1. Before attaching the wallpaper, you should prepare the wall. It should be freed from old wallpaper, cleaned, washed and, preferably, - plastered with a starting line, and then, after stripping - with a finishing putty. This stage is especially important for images in light colors - a pure white base will save from the effect of emerging fragments of gray walls.

2. Prime a section of the wall before gluing paper walls. This is necessary in order to remove dust and ensure a better attachment of the sheets to the wall. You can use both ready-made primer and liquid( stronger diluted) wallpaper glue. The primer should dry!

3. Begin from the light source( from the window), make an accurate layout of the first sheet. From this stage depends almost everything, so approach it responsibly. Using a plumb, level and pencil, draw a horizontal and vertical line, forming a drawn corner exactly 90 degrees. Lines draw the full width and length of your wall picture.

4. Fold the fragments on the littered paper or fabric face down so that the first glued sheet is the top. On it, apply glue with a wide brush, paying special attention to the edges of the sheet.

5. Do not wait for time, as is usually done with conventional wallpaper. Smeared - and immediately on the wall! The first sheet is exactly aligned along the vertical and horizontal lines. From the middle - to the edges of a good roll with a special hard roller for gluing wallpaper, a brush or a clean rag so that no bubbles remain. Remove the protruding drops immediately.

6. In the same way, proceed with the next sheet. Apply it accurately on the horizontal line, carefully combining the picture( remember about two millimeters!).

7. The second row of fragments equals thus: the first - precisely on a vertical line, the subsequent - on a drawing.

This is important!

The temperature in the room during the work must be at least 20 degrees, but it is desirable - and not more than 25. At a higher temperature, the wallpaper may crack, at low temperatures it may go away. And do not forget: both during the immediate work, and about a day after all the doors and windows in the room must be closed to prevent even the slightest draft.

Now you know how to properly apply wallpaper in the children's room or bedroom, and let them cheer you up every time you return to your cozy home!
