Cement SC is a special astringent, characterized by rapid curing and adhesion. The strength of a solution of such a composition reaches about 300 kg / cm2 in a day.

This type of cement is a product of the joint grinding of Portland cement clinker( about 65-75%), alumina slag( 13-20%) and gypsum stone( 6-10%).When dissolved with water, it first hardens and gains strength, and then expands, while straining the reinforced concrete. There are two brands, divided by self-stress: NC-10, as well as NC-20.

The scope of application of for this cement is extremely extensive:

  • is used in the construction of swimming pools, subway tunnels, treatment facilities;
  • with its help is carried out repair and reconstruction of damp or flooded premises;
  • make foundations for turbogenerators, structures for dynamic loads, enclosing structures using the "foundation in the ground" method;
  • construction of radioactive waste storage facilities;
  • performance of airfield, road surfaces, road bridges, industrial floors, roofs in operation, etc.;
  • manufacturing of hollow core slabs;
  • in the production of pressure as well as non-pressure pipes;

In addition, the quality properties of this material are significantly higher than those of conventional cement. This cement is packed in paper bags( 45 kg), and is also sold in bulk.

Technology for the use of

In order to use the tensile cement as efficiently as possible, all the bases, crevices and joints where it is planned to be used must be prepared accordingly. The surface and work seams should be completely cleaned from all kinds of dirt, washed with water and degreased. The walls of the formwork need to be moistened.

To carry out construction work you will need the following: a container for stirring the solution and a shovel, or a concrete mixer, special vibrators necessary for compaction of concrete, trowel, a large amount of rags, special clothing.

First of all, it is necessary to mix a waterproof cement-sand mortar. To do this, the NC is mixed with clean, sifted sand in a ratio of 1: 2 and closed with water( approximately 40% of the mass of NC).

In no event should it be possible to combine NC cement with other types of this building material, becausethe tensile cement loses all its special properties.

After the solution is well stirred and, if necessary, poured into the formwork, if repair is made of butt joints and seams, then with the trowel, manually, all cracks are closed. After pouring / applying the solution, it must be well sealed, let the structures settle within 24 hours, moisten for another 7 days.
