Marking of corrugated board - we disassemble the fence of letters on the packaging

What is marking of corrugated board?

Profiled sheeting, the description of which is set out below, is divided into such types: roofing, wall, bearing, decorative. It is made of steel sheets by cold rolling technology. According to the presence of a coating, it can be coated with polymer, paint and varnish, uncoated, double-sided.

Profiled sheeting is marked with an alphanumeric code, where the letter indicates its purpose. The marking contains parameters of corrugated board, batch number, information about the manufacturer, the number of sheets in the package, the estimated weight of the package, the date of manufacture, the stamp of the plant.

We deal with the features of the marking

Profiled sheeting, whose dimensions are marked with the first half of the code, has the notation, which we consider below. Let's analyze this code.

  • H( carrier) - this is marked with corrugated board, which is used for non-removable formwork, roofing, interfloor overlappings. It has additional stiffeners. The most widely distributed sheets are marked with H45, H75, H114.
  • C( wall) is a corrugated board with a corrugated trapezoidal shape, which is used for the construction of wall structures. The most common are C8, C10, C20, C35.
  • HC is a kind of universal corrugated board that can be used for both flooring and walls.
  • AC sheet of thin-rolled steel, having an aluminum-zinc coating.
  • A-list of thin-rolled steel, having an aluminum-silicon coating

The designation of the corrugated board consists of several elements. For example, here is the marking: C10-700-0.8 AC ML-1203 GOST 24045-94.This means that before you a wall shaped sheet, the height of its wave - 10 mm, the width of the corrugated board - 700 mm, the thickness - 0.8 mm. The sheet is made of aluminum-zinc rolled and coated with enamel МЛ-1203, produced according to GOST.

If there is no GOST at the end of the marking, it means that this batch is made according to some other standard. The length of the sheets is not marked. Profiled sheeting, the sheet length of which is determined by the customer, can be from 0.3 m to 12 m.

What you need to know when choosing a corrugated board?

When choosing profiled sheets, it is worth considering that they are ideally suited to your needs and financial possibilities. The first thing you need to pay attention to is the height of the wave, the width of the sheet of corrugated sheet and the type of coating.

It is also worth considering the reputation of the manufacturer, because this material must be produced on modern first-class equipment and from top grade raw materials.

Sheet waves can have different shapes: trapezoidal, rounded or sinusoidal. Choosing the right wave height, you will choose the material that will ideally match the required building targets.

The most popular is profiled sheeting C8.It is characterized by reliability, optimum rigidity and strength. At the same time it has excellent performance characteristics and a relatively low price. The profiled sheet of grade C20 and C21 is more rigid. Used for barrier structures. A fence made of such material will be pleased with its reliability and attractiveness.

For the roof, you need a corrugated board with a wave height of at least 20 mm. Such a height will not allow the sheet to deform under any loads. For roofing works sheets of marks Н60, Н75 or НС35 are usually used. They must have a polymer coating that will protect the material. If all requirements are taken into account, you will select the necessary material without difficulty.
