Composition of concrete M200
This brand of concrete is called a mixture of "low" composition. It is justified by the fact that it contains more plasticized, sulfate-resistant, hydrophobic, fast-hardening cement. In such mixtures it is not customary to introduce any active mineral additives. Often, surfactant components are added thereto. They have the following effects: plasticizing, air-entraining, hydrophobizing.
These components provide high performance characteristics, allow using this mixture in areas with sharp temperature changes, as well as in those conditions where it is necessary to conduct work in the shortest possible time. The role of these aggregates( gravel and sand) is to create a structural framework in the future. Concrete grade 200, the proportions of which are 0.18 m3 of water, 0.25 m3 of cement, 0.43 cube of sand and 0.9 cube of rubble, is obtained as an astringent mixture with a total volume of 1.76 cubic meters. Characteristics of concrete grade M200
As already mentioned, the characteristics of the mixture directly depend on what ingredients and in what proportions it was prepared. Concrete 200, the composition of which includes cement, water and high-quality fillers, has a number of features. So, what are they?
- Thanks to the low density, the high reliability of the entire structure is ensured.
- Quick drying and yet achieving good strength.
- Has low thermal conductivity. Due to this, a very thin layer of insulating materials can be applied. As a result, during installation, a significant amount of money is saved.
- High shrinkage resistance. As you know, any building and structure after construction has the property of "settling down".In this case, when using this concrete, cracks do not appear, and the shrinkage passes almost imperceptibly.
- The compound can be applied at a temperature of + 5 to + 350 degrees. The properties do not change.
Mark of concrete M200, in which spheres are most often used?
Concrete M200, GOST 7473-94, can be used in many areas. Let us list them in detail. The first thing for which it is used is, of course, the installation of foundations( most often tape), concrete screeds, blind spots, various tracks and areas. Also, it is well suited for plate, pile-and-grate structures. In this case, as already mentioned earlier, during the operation, the possibility of cracking is excluded. And all the coating is reliable and durable.
The second thing that can be noted is the application of this brand in the construction of low-rise rooms, bearing walls, the device of ceilings. It is also used for retaining walls and casting stairs. The third is the arrangement of the access areas of houses, baths, a garage and other areas.
