What are these blocks?

Blocks of cellular concrete - we proceed to work

For the construction work you will need: a trowel, a hacksaw for concrete, a shroud, a rubber kinky, a concrete plane, as well as a square, building level, a spatula, a construction cord, an electric drill. Before you start laying walls from building blocks, you need to waterproof the foundation.

Usually, it is produced by roll materials with significant overlap and fits on the cleaned surface of the foundation. From the correct placement of the first row of building blocks, the quality of the masonry and the entire house depends directly. Starting the laying of wall blocks is necessary from a high angle of the house( determined by means of a level) to a cement mortar with a thickness of about 20 mm.

This is done in order to align the existing deviations from the horizon and other irregularities with a cement cushion. Having put several corner blocks, it is necessary to check the leveling of the masonry by the building level, if deviations are present, then the kiyanka is taken and everything is leveled.

Between the corner blocks the construction cord is pulled and the first row is filled. With the aid of a plane for concrete or a grinding board, all irregularities and roughness are removed. Building dust is removed with a brush.

For the subsequent laying it is necessary to prepare a special building mix. We spread the bag of the mixture with water and mix it well with an electric drill with a mixer nozzle, the solution should turn out to be sufficiently plastic and not thick.

If in the construction process you need to trim the block, it is desirable to implement it with a special hacksaw for cellular concrete. After trimming, the block is cleaned with a plane.

After 1.5 hours after laying the first row of building blocks, you can start working with the second row. It is carried out on the same principle as the first. The laying should be checked periodically by level on horizontal and vertical planes and trimmed with a kyanite. For the second row, a special mixture is used, the construction trowel is applied to the horizontal and vertical surface of the block.

All subsequent rows are placed alternately, with the obligatory use of dressings. Depth of dressing should be 10 cm or more. Bandages of external as well as internal bearing walls are used for dressings and flexible connections. Flexible connections are strips of metal from stainless steel. They need to be put in every second row of wall blocks of the supporting structure.
