Oxif Oxif is an artificial base for paint and varnish

Acquaintance with material

Solvent content in the ready-made solution Oxol - no more than 40%, and the remaining 5% - the mass fraction of the desiccant. The solvent, which is in the composition of Oxol, gives the whole mixture a characteristic unpleasant and sharp odor, which persists for some time after drying. This linseed oil, due to the presence of various components, is much cheaper than natural varnish, but practically does not differ from it either in form or in properties.

The characteristics of drying oil depend on the vegetable oil used in the composition, it is divided into two subspecies. A better linseed oil is made with the use of linseed oil. This coating has a hardness, water resistance, elasticity and has maximum durability. Accordingly, cheaper drying oil has in its composition other oils( sunflower, soybean, corn and others).

Characteristics Oxides

Depending on the components used, Oxides are produced. The B grade oil is made using hemp or flaxseed oil. It is used in the paint and varnish industry in the production of oil paints, as well as for the cultivation of various dull colors used in interior and exterior painting.

Sunflower, safflower, grape, corn or other oils are the basis of the varnish of the grade PV, and also partial substitution of these oils for petroleum-polymer resins is possible. For the production of drying oil of this brand are not used oils, the use of which is possible in the food industry.

Oxol is used for special impregnation of a variety of wooden surfaces or for the treatment of plasters before painting. Drying oil Oxol, technical specifications are specified by the appropriate GOST, dries quickly( no more than a day), has an excellent hardness and creates a glossy effect on the surface.

Memo for a worker with a drying oil. Oxide

The solution should be applied to a pre-dried, as well as cleaned from dust and dirt surface. All work is carried out at a temperature not lower than +10 ° С.Relative air humidity should not be more than 80%. At this temperature, Oxol dries no more than a day .If the solution thickens, it is allowed to dilute it with nephras, turpentine or white spirit, as well as their mixtures.

This material is a flammable and toxic liquid that is hazardous at elevated temperatures. All these characteristics are due to the properties of the components( oils and solvents) that make up the composition.

In rooms where this liquid is used or stored, it is prohibited to have an open flame. Electrical equipment and lighting sources must be explosion-proof. The linseed oil should be stored in a carefully and tightly closed container, protected from direct sunlight, as well as various moisture.

During application of this liquid, the room where this occurs should be well ventilated. When linseed oil is used , the manufacturer recommends to protect the respiratory system with a respirator, and open areas of the skin with overalls and rubber gloves.

If this material gets on your skin, you should wipe it off with a soft cloth and wash it with warm soapy water. Do not let the drying oil come into your eyes!
