TRV Recently, the installation of the TRV has become quite widespread. Some regulatory documents strongly recommend the availability of control valves in heating systems in order to avoid overheating the room and save energy, as well as to control the temperature and create comfortable conditions for work and leisure.

The heating valve consists of an enclosure with a special design and a stem with a spool that cover the working area. Adjustment of the temperature regime is carried out by two methods:

  • Mechanical - adjustment is carried out manually when acting on the valve stem;
  • Automatic - the adjustment is carried out autonomously due to the design features.

In the body of such a valve there is a thermostatic head, which contains a bellows. It is filled with gas, kerosene or a special substance. When the temperature rises, the physical properties of the components expand or change, the thermal cylinder increases in volume and pushes the rod out of the bellows. This reduces the supply of the heat carrier and reduces energy consumption. When the air cools down, everything happens in the reverse order: the volume of the filler in the bellows decreases, the rod returns to the previous position and the coolant flow is restored.

Before assembling the heating valve, it is important to remember some things:

  1. It is important to position the bellows horizontally, then it will correctly catch the temperature. Its incorrect installation will result in the fact that the operation of the device will not be very effective as a result of the influence of different directions on the heat flux sensor.
  2. The thermostat should be positioned so that the surrounding objects do not interfere with its operation and that it does not fall under the direct action of the heaters.
  3. The use of a thermoregulating valve and a head of the same manufacturer will be more expedient, even if the details of different brands are suitable to each other.

To operate the air conditioner efficiently and without interruptions, a thermo valve is installed. Its design is somewhat different from the devices for heating appliances, but the scheme of their actions is the same. In air conditioning systems, it is necessary to monitor the vapor pressure level and the evaporator overheating. The expansion valve is designed to maintain the temperature stability of the air conditioning system and ensures the movement of the refrigerant from the condenser to the evaporator.

Types of expansion valves for air conditioners

  1. Internal adjustment - in order to close the valve, a lot of pressure and tension of the spring is necessary, and for its opening - the pressure of the thermo balloon, resulting from overheating of the refrigerant evaporator.
  2. External equalization is an improved control scheme that allows maintaining the stability of the system, even if the hydraulic pressure in the evaporator changes.

In order for the heating network in the room to function effectively, it is absolutely necessary to install a heating valve. This will save a significant amount of energy, create optimal microclimate parameters in the heated area and increase the reliability and durability of the entire system. It is recommended to choose a thermo-adjusting fittings of Italian production, as it is the most high-quality and well-known in the domestic market.
