Furnace brick heating - what will it be?

Wood-burning brick kilns mainly operated from October to April. Their dimensions were quite impressive, and the weight reached several tons. Now they are replaced by brick stoves with water heating, in which water is used for the accumulation and transfer of heat.

The heat capacity of such a carrier, in comparison with a brick, is much higher. In addition, the advantage of this design is that for a full heating of the house, even in the most severe frosts, a two-shot furnace is sufficient. Hot water evenly transfers heat from a heated oven throughout the house, and a warm pipe will heat the rooms and after the oven goes out. Convenient, is not it? But how to install the boiler in it?

The easiest way is to install a water circuit in the furnace. Furnaces brick heating and their arrangement are described below. To do this, do not need a lot of materials, and with such work can master any master. In addition, the costs will be minimal.

Heating furnaces made of bricks - we start to build

In furnaces with water heating weight of advantages :

  • for the operation of a furnace with a water circuit, various types of inexpensive fuel are suitable;
  • such an oven copes well with heating large houses;
  • it is perfectly combined with other heating systems;
  • brick oven can be decorated with various facing materials.

The technology of building such a furnace is notable for its simplicity. The design itself remains standard: a cast-iron stove, an oven, a chimney. For its construction use a simple ceramic and refractory brick. Masonry is carried out on a solution of clay, with the addition of sand or fine slag.

First lay the base of the oven. After drawing the fourth row, grate bars are installed, measuring 25 × 25 cm. On the fifth row, there are windows for cleaning the interior space, in which the doors are subsequently mounted. Simultaneously install a heating boiler and fix it in the masonry.

Masonry furnace with water heating - masonry from the boiler to the chimney

At the highest point of the upper part of the boiler, the output heating pipe is welded. Such an installation will in the future avoid the formation of an air plug at its outlet. On the sixth row, the door is installed. The main thing in bricklaying is the correct dressing of the seams. The middle of the upper brick should always be at the junction of the lower ones. The seventh row is closed by the cleaning doors. In the eighth, two chimneys behind the boiler overlap.

Masonry is carried out so that the boiler in front and behind does not touch the brick. This gap is made with the expectation that when heated the boiler slightly widens and grows in size.

The thirteenth row starts overlapping the lower heating chamber. It is made of refractory bricks. The fifteenth row completes the overlap. The seventeenth is decisive for the dimensions of the upper heating chamber. On the thirty-fourth row begins the laying of the horizontal channel of the upper combustion chamber.

The thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth rows cover the roof of the boiler. At the last, a smoke valve is installed. From the thirty-ninth row begins the laying of the chimney. This is a simple and affordable way to build a brick oven with water heating.
