Unlike concrete wells, made up of segments of enormous gravity, plastic sewer rings benefit from a relatively small weight. What is it worth to lay a concrete fragment of the well, having pushed it to the dug hole and gently knocking down, trying to get clear on the previously immersed circle in the ground.

Polyethylene, from which lightweight rings are made for sewerage, allows the laying of the well segments by the forces of one person , especially if the rings are joined by special locks.

In some cases, laying a plastic well for sewage can cost you a certain cost if you need to use welding for it. And this method of connecting segments among themselves is actively used in the installation of plastic sewage systems.

At the same time, taking into account the specificity of the material, it is necessary to observe a certain technology of welding connection with preliminary degreasing and control of the working temperature of extrusion welding. But the result exceeds expectations - sealing joints is excellent.

Reinforced concrete rings for sewage or plastic?

On the one hand, reinforced concrete inspires confidence - thick walls, excellent resistance to high loads, water resistance. However, given the need to get pipes through reinforced concrete rings for wells, it is worth considering whether too much labor will go to the sewage system.

After all, it is necessary to correctly calculate the perforation of the walls of the rings, to provide additional sealing at the points where pipes are put into the well. With regard to plastic as a material for the well segments, everything is somewhat simpler here. First, the PVC rings are produced not only with monolithic walls, but also with the outlets, where pipes can be connected. This greatly facilitates the task when installing well elements.
