On the choice of talking there is much no sense, because it is determined only by your preference for the color scheme and the concept of the interior, so let's see how to install it.

. If you already had an old curb, but for some reason it should be changed, then separate it and gently scrape off all the dirt, wipe it with a cloth( preferably with bleach) and dry it.

At the end of twenty minutes, and even better half an hour, carefully remove all excess protruding along the edges of the foam. To do this you will need a regular clerical or construction knife.

It's time to seal the place where the curb of is fastened to the bath on the tile. For this procedure, it is recommended to use a white silicone sealant. Place the sealant in the construction gun, remove the neck, squeeze out a little sealant and remove this layer.

This is done in order to remove the sealant dried in the upper layers and start working with fresh. Tighten the tip back.

In order not to stain your curb for a PVC bath, glue the paint tape over it all along its length from below and from above. Using a spatula, bend the edge of the border to the outside. In the formed space between the tile and the border, tap the nozzle of the gun and start slowly squeezing out the sealant, filling all the voids.

After the seam is completely filled, it is necessary to smooth the sealant along the curb. This can be done using a rubber spatula. Now repeat the procedure for sealing the space below. Then remove the adhesive tape. Measure out the width of the bath and saw off the necessary piece. Installation of the curb on the bath will completely repeat the technology described above. Fill with sealant all joints, do not forget about the corners of the bathroom.
