Gas columns are a very popular type of water heaters. Picking up a suitable model and installing it in an apartment or a house, it remains very small - to learn how to include a column. Among the mandatory manipulations should be called the opening of a gas tap, which supplies gas to the device, as well as the opening of a water tap, through which cold water will enter the device. How to ignite the column with manual ignition:

• Open the valve on the tap supplying gas to the column.

This version of the ignition column is more modern and common. It is very simple to use, but it has such a disadvantage as increased gas consumption. While the column does not work, the wick is still smoldering inside, so the gas, though in small amounts, is burned all the time.

How to light a column with piezo-spark:

• To start, you need to press a button that acts on the piezoelectric element. This will give a spark to ignite the fuse of the pilot burner.
• Open the tap, which supplies gas to the unit.

This is the most modern and profitable option for ignition of gas columns. It is also called electrical, because it is based on the transmission of an electric spark. Its appearance is provided either by batteries or by a hydroturbine. Burning will be controlled by different sensors, and as soon as the user closes the hot water tap, the fuse will go out.

How to light a column with electric ignition:

• Make sure that the gas and cold water are supplied to the column.
• Open the hot water tap.
