No, not about cumbersome cabinets and chiffoniers, small, new-fashioned slides and all sorts of decorative corner shelves will fully cope with this task. A bulky cabinets will be removed far away or even completely rid of them permanently, and instead of them for storing numerous family trash we use built-in wardrobes and create an environment of minimalism in the room. But now we will not talk about this, let's see how you can create a corner decorative shelf by yourself .And the form of the shelf and its design, we also come up with ourselves.
To begin with, we will collect the necessary tools, material and fasteners for manufacturing the shelf with our own hands.
The tool will need:

The material is just a sheet of laminated chipboard, a self-adhesive melamine edge and confirmations for connecting parts of the shelf.

Everything is important here, every millimeter is taken into account. A little pruning without having to spoil the evenness of the edge, then it will be impossible. That's why we get a smooth cut, without chips on both sides. At home, this is not achieved. Therefore, the cutting of chipboard must be done taking into account the front and the underside. Removable disc for cutting is better to choose with small teeth, they do not make chips so much.
When the parts for the assembly of the product are already cut, you can do their ennobling, the ends of the parts must be pasted with a melamine edge. It can be purchased in any construction market or in a specialized store of any color and size. It is very easy to glue. On its back there is already a layer of thermal glue applied, so you just need to apply the edge of the necessary length to the end of the chipboard and heat it with an iron. After that, let it cool down, and cut the excess, protruding along the edges, with a sharp, dangerous razor or sharp knife.

Next we proceed to the process of assembling the shelf. Having no specific experience, you certainly will not do without outside help. Ask someone to hold the connected parts in the correct position while you are drilling a hole.

After that, connect the parts of the future shelf with the help of a confirmation - this is a special furniture screw with a large thread and a head for an internal hexagonal key. Similarly, all other parts of the corner shelf are assembled. At this stage, the most important is the accuracy of the connection of parts, if one of the parts is at least a millimeter to speak for another, the overall appearance of the product is greatly impaired. Assembly work is best done on a flat surface, in order to avoid distortion and inconsistencies.
To fix the corner shelf you will need to provide a special fasteners. You can buy it already ready in the store, or you can invent something of your own. Usually these are some "ears", bolted at the top of the shelf, for which it is hung on the wall.
