- Of concrete. The system, which is made only of concrete, without a metal frame inside. It differs in comparative cheapness of manufacture, but less durability and durability.
- Of polymer. Previously, pipes from polymers did not have sufficient strength for use in the construction of highways. But modern technology has allowed to increase their fortress. This type of pipe communication requires less cost in production and transportation. The downside is the need to erect a massive concrete arch when installing polymeric culverts.
- Made of metal. Such metal products are distinguished by their high strength and ease of installation. The downside is a high susceptibility to erosion processes.
