In 2014, the head of the city administration Leonid Cherkesov held a series of events that allowed to hold a heating year with a minimum of breakdowns and budget expenses. This experience was decided to be used in the new year. Starting from the end of the heating period, inspections and elimination of breakdowns that occurred during the operation of boiler houses of thermal equipment were carried out. The allocated part of the budget was fully spent for the repair work of the heating mains. The preparatory measures carried out make it possible to start the boiler-houses and their connections to the houses and social institutions of the city exactly in the planned interval - September 29 - October 4.
What does the heat transfer schedule depend on?
The timing of the inclusion of heating systems in Cheboksary depends on a number of conditions, the main of which are:
- availability of funds for the timely start of heating;
- compliance with the timing of repair and maintenance work with the system.
Today 68% of consumers are prepared to start heating. Repair and preventive measures are carried out exactly in time. In comparison with 2014, 2015 the heating season is not inferior in quality of its preparation.
Priority of heating supply in Cheboksary
Traditionally, the first institutions of heat will receive social institutions:
- Hospitals;
- Kindergartens;
- Educational institutions;
- Administrative Institutions;
- Dwelling houses.

Find out who you have a contract for the supply of heat. It can be either a management company or a heat utility directly. There you can request that you perform a clearing for improper provision of the service.
By law, heating can be turned off for a month for 24 hours( total for all days).At the same time, there can be no more than 16 hours of continuous heat( if in residential premises +12 and above), no more than 8 hours( if at home 10-12 degrees of heat) and no more than 4 hours( if the temperature is 8-10 degrees).
If these general rules are not met, for each hour of refusal of service( the total amount for the whole period), the heating fee will decrease by 0.15%.
