Step-by-Step Instruction for Installing the Roof Ceiling with Your Own Hands
Step 1.
Mounting the
Suspension To begin with, you need to install the guides along the perimeter of the entire room. The location of the future ceiling must be designated with the expectation of its lowering 16-20 cm below the main ceiling. Then you should take all the measurements. For a large room, it is best to use the laser level. We draw a level line horizontally with the laser level. On it, and will be attached guide profiles. In the standard, the length of the profile is 3 m. If necessary, it can always be cut with metal scissors.
Step 2.
Setting the
guides Next step. Apply the guiding profile, leaning on the drawn line, to the wall and drill a hole. In this hole screw the screw with a dowel. Then fix the entire profile in the same way with a pitch of approximately 60mm. The profile must be checked at all times for leveling the installation.
Step 3.

Step 4.
Next, install the hangers. Their fastening should be measured beforehand and the distance between them should be about 1 m. Suspension to the concrete ceiling is fixed with screws with dowels. To do this, you need to drill holes in the main ceiling. Note, drill, fix and slightly bend the corners of the hangers.
Step 5.
Then attach the traverses to the suspensions. Between them, we keep distance( not more than a meter).The traverse is installed perpendicular to the rails, at the level with the profile. In advance, the bent edges of the hangers are now completely bent to the end under the traverses, which are fastened with screwdrivers. It is very important to maintain the evenness of the entire structure. Short traverses can be exerted. For this we use metal scissors and one more suspension.
Step 6.
We fix the ceiling. To begin with, we release the slats from the film, and if necessary cut them. Then, with special care, we insert the slats into the guides and snap them into the traverse.
With the exact observance of all steps, a smooth and beautiful suspended ceiling is obtained. This is a simple and reliable way to install a rack ceiling, which at any time can be used independently. Approximately the same way, you can also install relief ceilings, but this will take much longer.
