Happy owners of a country house or cottage have often had to deal with a problem: in remote areas from the city there is simply no connection so that you can use a mobile phone or watch TV.If modern mobile phones are already equipped with powerful hidden antennas to receive the signal, then the signal for viewing the TV is more difficult. The only solution is an external antenna. And do not necessarily run into the store to buy expensive equipment - the antenna for giving( by GSM signal) can be easily done by yourself!

Antenna for dacha own hands

Antenna for giving by your own hands

If your dacha already has a weak signal and your TV weakly catches 1-2 channels, you can improve the reception quality in minutes. To begin with, it should be understood that the stations sending the signal are at a distance from your dacha. And your TV is now receiving a random signal that was not sent to a specific receiver. In order for the signal to become more qualitative, an antenna( receiver) is needed, which will transmit the signal directly to the TV.

Antenna can be made both from an old antenna, and from completely unsuitable at first glance things - improvised materials.

In the first variant we will consider how to make a classical antenna for a private house:

1) Wire. A quality guide should be selected by you at the rate of: 1.5-2 meters per antenna, 5-6 meters( depending on your interior) at a distance from the antenna to the TV.Suppose that you have chosen a wire with a diameter of 1.5 mm.

2) External part of the antenna. It is made from prepared wire.1-1,5 meters to be screwed into a ring, the diameter of which is from 356 mm.up to 450 mm.

3) The inside of the antenna. It is necessary to make from the wire a second ring, correspondingly smaller in size than the first( about 180 mm).

4) Finished rings - this is the basis of the future antenna - you need to fix it on a small piece of plywood. Instead of plywood, you can use any suitable piece of wood. The tree should not overlap the rings and should not be loose so that the entire antenna is clearly fixed on the roof.

5) The finished structure should be directed in the direction of the signal source in the direction of the signal source. No doubt the signal will be strong in the side of the city. At this stage, ask for help: the antenna needs to turn in different directions and check where the signal will be better. After you find the best option, your antenna is finally ready!

Making an antenna from beer cans

There are many ways to make a simple and high-quality( for high-quality signal) TV antenna for giving. We considered how to create a "classical" antenna, but there are also non-standard solutions. For example, you can quickly make an antenna from old cans( from Coca-Cola or beer).Such an antenna in terms of its characteristics is inferior to shop innovations, plus it will help the landlord save money.

To create an antenna, you need a pair of tin cans of 0.5 liters, rosin, tin, a bit of electrical tape, a simple tape, a clothes hanger( necessarily plastic!) And 5-6 meters of a television cable( which, incidentally, does not have to be new!).

Cable for TV aerial

Cable for TV aerial

  1. To the first bank you need to solder the TV cable( braid, cleared by 15-20 mm), and to the other - the central core( of that de cable). It will be easier to dunk the soldering iron in tin and rosin, and then already the wire is used. Conductors should be insulated with electrical tape!
  2. Banks fasten to the hanger, to the bottom.
  3. Connect to one side of the cable plug
  4. Connect the plug to the TV.The antenna is ready!

This antenna can also catch the "meter" range, if you use 0.5 liter, but 1.0 liter cans. If in the first case it was necessary to turn the antenna to "catch" a good signal, then in the case of tin cans, it is necessary to change the distance between them( banks) on the hanger. The antenna itself is located near a window or balcony.

Thus, there are a lot of ways how to make an antenna for a dacha with your own hands and to provide yourself and your loved ones a pleasant view of television programs in the fresh air. The antennas of the "homemade" are not inferior to the shops and can become a 100% substitute for them( especially making a new antenna easier and cheaper than buying a store in the event of a breakdown)!
