How to round off the corner: step by step instruction. Step 1: measure the radius of the future smooth corner
The beginning of the work is marked by measuring the radius of the future rounding. It is necessary to measure a certain number of centimeters on both sides of the angle along the entire height. Also be sure to note the radius on the ceiling and floor.
Step 2: make marks of the rounding points
To the marks at the floor and ceiling, attach the padding thread( the one that leaves the imprint on the surface when touched) and get a straight line of borders for crushing the corner. If there is no thread, use a metal profile and draw a line with a pencil.
Step 3: cut plaster
In order to cut a corner, you will need a Bulgarian. It is necessary to cut off that part of the plaster that covers the corner of the wall before the split. Do notches on the marks to the brickwork.
Step 4: Separate the template for rounding
A template is needed to create an even angle shape. For manufacturing, you need a wooden board, on which you draw a circle.
Next, draw tangents at a distance of 5-7 cm from the circle, which diverge by 90 °.The result should be a trapezoid.
Step 5: cut out the pattern
Take the jigsaw and gently proceed to cut the board along the assigned lines.
When completing the work, you should get an arch, the edges of which should be sanded with sandpaper. At the top of the template, screw a smooth bar that will fix it and do not let it bend. Also to the ends you need to attach the bar to ensure perpendicularity.
Step 6: color the rule( template)
To prevent the pattern from buckling as a result of water ingress, it is worth painting it. Edges are most vulnerable to moisture, so they need to be painted more intensively, even in several layers.

You need to make a round corner within the template that you marked earlier. Take the puncher and beat the plaster to the brick. Then proceed to make a rounded brick. The falling metal rods are cut off by the bulgarian.

Step 8: primed corner
Before proceeding to the plaster, the surface must be primed. This will increase its adhesiveness and make the entire clutch much stronger. Take a large brush and with wide movements with a large amount of a primer, apply the composition to the surface.

Step 9: Prepare the angle to the finish
If the pattern for the log cabinets passes smoothly, you can apply the plaster. However, if the deviations are still present, attach a profile to the wall so that one of the edges of the template abuts against it, and the template itself can move along the surface.
Step 10: plaster the rounding of the corner
Take the previously mixed plaster and throw it with a spatula on the corner so that it extends beyond the boundaries. Then draw a template( rule) up and down, distributing the plaster and leveling the surface.
As a result, you get organic corners, rather than reinforced concrete structures, as is usually done in other ways. And the corner itself will become one of the central elements of the decor in the room, as it can be decorated with paint, stone, decorative plaster, etc.
