Many apartments of typical buildings have difficulties with free space in the bathroom. In such situations, the installation of a washing machine is quite difficult, and we have to look for an acceptable option. One of them can be called the combination of a machine and a sink.
Types of
The combinations of machine and washbasin differ in the parameters of the machine for washing. The machine in such kits can be narrow and have a standard height or be of medium width, but of lesser height. The sink for any of these variants of machines is selected taking into account the width of the technique( the width of the machine should be less than the width of the sink).

- The main difference between the machine combined with the sink is the location of the nozzle, through which water is drawn into the unit, and also the drain hose. Usually they are placed behind or, more rarely, laterally.

Differences of this hanging shell are located in the rear of the drain system and a smaller depth( often it is 18-20 centimeters).In shape, this "water lily" can be rectangular, semicircular or square. Moderately non-standard models are encountered. Some shells on the side may have a small tabletop.

When planning to purchase a kit that includes a washing machine and a sink, follow these guidelines:
- For greater ease of use, the top edge of the sink should not be more than 80 cm from the floor.
- The machine should be chosen as narrow as possible.
- The drain system of the washbasin must go outside the washing machine.
- Make sure that the kit includes a special siphon for the machine.
Installation of
The most important condition that must be observed in the case of mounting the sink over the machine - draining the sink should in no case be located above the equipment. When placing the sink over the washing machine, there is a high risk of leakage, which will cause a short circuit.
Remember that the washing machine should be installed on a flat surface. If the floor in the bathroom is not level, achieve the correct position of the apparatus by adjusting the legs or installing a rubber mat.
