Briefly about what an elevator is and why it is needed

In fact, in order to better understand the elevator device and see it with your own eyes, it's enough to go down to the basement. First of all, various valves, pipes, valves, thermometers, pressure gauges, etc., will burst into the eyes. Among all this, you can notice a separate node.

We understand that this activity is not a pleasant one, that's why we prepared material for our readers in the form of photos and videos so that you can clearly see the elevator design.

And so, what is it? First of all, it is necessary to understand the principle of the elevator operation. With the district boiler house, a hot heat carrier is supplied to the building for heating systems, and the chilled water is taken away. For this, feed pipes and return pipes are used. The first is supplied with a hot heat carrier to the consumer, and the second pipes divert the cooled coolant, returning it back to the district boiler room.

One large house, or several small ones, is equipped with special heat chambers. It is in them that there is a process of distribution between the houses of the coolant. They also mount a shut-off valve, which helps to cut off the pipeline. In such heat chambers, drainage devices are used to empty the pipeline( for example, during repair work).

Briefly about what an elevator is and why it is needed

District boiler houses operate in several modes:

  • feed 150, with a return of 70 g. C.
  • feed 130, with a return of 70 g. C.
  • feed 95, with a return of 70 g. C.

Depending on the latitude of residence, a mode is selected. For example, in Moscow there is enough supply 130, but in Irkutsk 150 will be needed. The names of modes( 150/70, 130/70, 95/70) indicate the maximum load of the pipeline, it all depends on the air temperature outside the window. Sometimes, the temperature is reduced to 70/54, so that there is no overheating in the room. Adjustment is carried out on the boiler room.

The heating medium for heating systems comes to the consumer. Its adjustment is performed locally using special mechanisms, which consist of:

  • servo;
  • internal and external outdoor temperature sensor;
  • actuator with valve;

These systems are equipped with individual devices. They keep a record of heat energy, so that significant savings are achieved. Unlike elevators, such systems are less reliable.

When the temperature of the coolant is not more than 95 g. C., heat must be distributed qualitatively throughout the system. For this, balancing cranes and manifolds are used. But, when the temperature is above 95 gr.and it needs to be reduced, an elevator is used. With the aid of the elevator assembly to the supply line, chilled water from the return is mixed.

Functions and characteristics of the elevator assembly

The elevator, if properly installed, performs the mixing and circulation function. The advantages of this system include:

  • simplicity of design;
  • work efficiency;
  • no connection to electricity.

Functions and characteristics of the elevator assembly

Disadvantages:

  • requires the selection of an elevator and an accurate calculation;
  • the output can not be adjusted temperature;
  • between supply and processing, the pressure drop( 0,8-2 bar) must be observed.

Construction The elevator consists of:

  • spray elevator;
  • nozzles;
  • the chamber of the discharge.

To it install stop valves, thermometers and manometers. All this is an elevator assembly.

Design

As an alternative, you can use equipment with auto temperature control instead of the elevator. It is energy-saving, more economical, but more expensive. Such equipment can not work without electricity.

Therefore, at the moment the installation of the elevator is quite an up-to-date topic. It has a number of advantages and will be used by utilities for a long time.
