Mirror in the living room - the core of the interior
We are accustomed to the traditional use of mirrors in bedrooms and hallways, corridors, or walk-in closets. There, this affordable and simple accessory most often performs utilitarian functions, but it is quite possible to "load" and additional tasks to decorate the interior. For example, in the living room, the mirror may well become the basis around which the rest of the interior will be formed.
A properly selected and placed in the living room mirror can add to the room both glamor and restraint - it all depends on the shape, size and ways of decorating this accessory.
Living room and the main tasks of mirrors

When choosing the shape, frame and other elements of the mirror design, you must take into account the style solutions used in the interior design of the main room in the house. For living rooms, with an interior rococo or baroque, as well as for the "classic", the optimal solution can be a beautiful carved frame "under the bronze".And for rooms with a predominant in the decoration and furniture, wood and the frame on the mirror should be wooden. The French style of the living room allows you to use such an unusual element as a window-blende. For rooms with one window, this choice may be almost ideal. It is not recommended to place a mirror against a window. The degree of illumination from this will not increase. Also, in small living rooms, you should not place mirrors on adjacent walls. The proximity of two mirror surfaces will lead to the appearance of multiple reflections and discomfort when in the room. This is the solution for large rooms.
Mirror in the living room will make a lot of experiments with the interior. Democratic approach and imagination make it possible to get almost any visual effect and draw attention to the best objects and qualities of the living room itself.
