To begin with, you need to prepare tools and materials, namely:
- several blades of the stationery knife;
- handle( ideal piece of aluminum profile from the mosquito net of plastic windows);
- wooden rake, section slightly smaller than section profile;
- detachable diamond microdisk( pictured below);
- drill;Soldering iron and solder.
Immediately I would like to note that you can also make a drill with your own hands, because, most likely, you do not have it in the tools. Instructions on making a homemade mini drill we provided in the relevant article.
Having prepared the materials, proceed to assembling the homemade knife with the heel. To make the information more accessible, we will provide it in the form of step-by-step instructions:
- In the blade, make a spike, with which you can attach the heel. At the very heel, drill a hole corresponding to the width and thickness of the blade.
- Thread the heel on the spike and proppyayte all.
- Round the edges of the heel so that when the insulation is removed, it does not damage the insulating layer of the wires.
- In the rack, cut the blade under the blade, and then place the rail with the finished knife in the profile.
- To prevent the blade from slipping inside the profile, fix it with a bolt that will pass through the handle and the production hole, as shown in the photo below:
With this simple instruction, you can make a knife with a heel to remove the insulation with your own hands. As you can see, it takes less time to assemble a home-made item.
Note
