Two types of accessories are used to install the interior door:

• Hinges. They are designed for the movable fastening of the door leaf to the box. Choosing the handle for the door

Selecting loops

Choosing loops depends on the type and, above all, the weight of the door. There are several basic types of loops for installing interior doors.

• Nondividible. Two halves of such loops are assembled and pressed in the factory. As a rule, they are used for light frame doors. Installation of accessories for interior doors

This stage for many beginning masters presents a certain complexity. When carrying out such work, you need not only knowledge of technology, but also accuracy.

The hinges and the overhead lath of the door handle must be located on the surface of the canvas and the box flush, that is, do not have any gaps. The installed fittings in the level with the surface of the structural elements of the door are considered excellent work. However, in order to fulfill it perfectly, it is necessary to try very hard.

Also, the size of the seat under the hinges or the lock must match exactly their dimensions and do not have side clearances. A deviation of only 0.5-1 mm is allowed.

The cutting of seats for door fittings is made, both by a special electric tool - a milling cutter, and manually by means of a chisel, a scalpel and a hammer.

Work order:

1. The initial stage of inserting the hinges into the end surface of the door is the marking of the landing socket. For this purpose, singing at a distance of 200-300 mm from above and from the bottom of the door leaf is screwed with screws. In this case, the distance between the loops in all the doors of the room must be the same.
2. The contour of the loop is traced with a scalpel. However, the scalpel can do cuts well only along the wood fibers. In trimming the transverse part, it can cut only the top layer of veneer with a depth of 0.5 mm.
3. To start the work with a chisel, it is necessary with its help to deepen the contour by approximately 2-3 mm. In this case, the upper layers of fibers and veneers are cut to a depth of no more than 2-3 mm. After that, the loop is removed. Using a chisel, the wood is carefully sampled to the required depth.
4. During the process, a loop is installed in the seat to measure the required depth. When it is "flush-mounted", the sample is terminated. Work the chisel carefully and gently tapping the handle with a hammer. Doors from MDF are very difficult to handle neatly with a manual cutting tool. For such models, it is more expedient to use a router.
5. Once the landing socket is cut for the hinges, they are installed in place. Next, you need to try on the carrier frame of the door frame to the canvas to map the position of the hinge on it. For the convenience of the process, you only need to use a rack, not the entire box. If they were already sold in assembled form, it is better to disassemble it. The more convenient it is to work, the better the result will be. Then the process of inserting loops is repeated the same way as on the end part of the web.
6. After completion of work, it is necessary to install the handle. This stage is much more complicated, since it requires more attention. In addition to cutting out the seating position for the lock, you must properly drill the holes under the handle and the latch. It is more expedient to do this work with the help of a router, since the seat has a greater depth, and it is rather problematic to select it using a chisel.
7. When finished, the hinges, the handle with the lock, and the box are assembled. The interior door with the fittings installed is hung on the box, and then the seat of the locking lining is fixed, which will fix the tongue. To do this, it is applied to any coloring matter( nail polish), the handle is lowered, the door closes, and then the handle rises, releasing the tongue, which stains the place of contact with the post.
