Why might I need to paint the parquet?

How can we paint the parquet?

And here it is already necessary to think not of whether it is possible to paint parquet, but about which paint to pick. In principle, any paint is suitable for wooden surfaces, designed for interior work. However, it should be remembered that the enamel must be resistant to abrasion, since the coatings in this regard are under increased load. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned from previous coatings, and then aligned and repaired, ie.grind and loop. Before applying the first layer, the parquet is degreased with a special compound. Most often, a roller is used for this purpose and is attached to a long handle. If the consistency of the paint is not very thick, you can resort to the aid of an atomizer. In the case of the use of water-based paint, it is sufficient to apply two layers, the second applied to the first not earlier than two hours. After drying, the surface is covered with two coats of colorless varnish.
