Before going to the store, we spend more than one hour on the Internet to answer the most important question that seems to us - which wallpapers to choose."Vinyl wallpaper", "paper wallpaper", "liquid wallpaper" - we type, reading the recommendations of stores and dealers and arguing with the household about what we still buy, even without knowing at the same time that the texture of the wallpaper, like the material, from which they are made, does not matter long ago.
For more than a year, wallpapers have been increasingly out of fashion, giving way to colored walls. But if you still decided to glue all the rooms of your apartment with wallpaper, we will not at all persuade you. They became the center and the main components of any design project in the last 18 months. And it is precisely such close attention to them that explains why the designers abandoned the bright wallpaper.
Nothing should shade the general idea. Nothing should detract from the personal individuality of the apartment, which can only be transferred through the personal belongings of its owners. In the end, nothing should overload consciousness into our information-packed century, and therefore, if wallpaper is applied, then with minimal information load - with soft pictures, without sharply outlined lines, without any sharp angles.
However, do not think that the wallpaper is completely denied the right to exist. The most interesting is that none of the most avant-garde project can do without them. Simply now they have a completely different role - the use of wallpaper in the decoration of apartments and rooms is minimized - one wall, corner, space between the windows or part of the wall above the bed.
And it turned the wallpaper into something they never were - in the brightest part of the interior, in the brightest light spot. After all, now they replaced the paintings, tapestries, stained-glass windows and carpets that we so loved to hang in our bedrooms, living rooms, and what to say - on any free wall, having pasted these walls with bright, screaming, cutting eyes and disturbing consciousnesscolors.
"Well, let's say," you will answer, "I will do as you advise me. But what will happen to the rest of the walls? Can I leave them as they are? "To this we will answer only one thing: color. Paint the walls in a soft, as much as possible neutral color, and then your room will turn into a real museum of your true personality, where you will be told about your personal things and those 2-3 stripes of wallpaper through which you try to convey your unique inner world.
