For the New Year, I would like to see on the table are not ordinary-looking candles, but festive and bright. Even the simplest candles can be codified and turned into New Years by skilled hands. We will do this with the help of decoupage techniques.
In this master class we will do decoupage of candles without the use of glue.
From a kitchen napkin with a picture of the New Year theme we cut out several small fragments.
We create ourselves a small candle shop. We need a constant fire - it's some kind of lighted candle and a metal spatula - a teaspoon. Heat the inner surface of the spoon over the flame.
Attach a piece of napkin to the surface of the candle being decorated. Quickly turn the hot spoon and gently curl the convex side of the napkin to the candle.
Paraffin slightly melts from heat and impregnates a napkin, it firmly "glued" to our New Year's candle. This process is rather slow: you need to spend a hot spoon on a napkin slowly, not jerks, so that there is not a paraffin-free space. As a result, all fragments are glued in this way.
Now with the water contours of gold and silver color, we revive the drawings and put the dots on a surface free from the napkin.
You get elegant New Year candles in confetti.
We make stands for them. We find in the cabinet unfit CD-ROMs, we apply a strip of super-glue on the bottom of the candle. We glue the candle with the disc as a candlestick. It turns out very stylish and brilliant.
With the help of decoupling candles they became festive and New Year.
When you light them - the candle flame reflects off the surface of the discs and creates a festive atmosphere.
