In most cases, small country greenhouses are built partly of bricks or blocks and metal. The lower part of the greenhouse is about a height of up to 1m built of brick, but the top is built mostly from improvised materials, like wood, reinforcement, profile or round pipe. This approach to the construction of a greenhouse for self-catering is determined by two factors.

Firstly, the structure of the greenhouse is quite strong and resistant to harsh weather conditions and has the ability to install entrance doors.
Secondly, due to the use of stiffeners from the reinforcement or profile pipe through the upper part of the greenhouse penetrates a sufficient amount of light.

At the next stage, the construction of a greenhouse with their own hands involves the installation of a bent profile pipe or reinforcement on a brick foundation - here the task is to build a strong structure like a tunnel. Without welding in this case, it is rather difficult to manage - it will be needed not only to connect the arched racks with each other, but also to fix them to the base. In advance, the step of installing the arch supports should be calculated - the distance between them should correspond to the width of the polycarbonate used or the window frames installed in them.

At the final stage of construction of the greenhouse with your own hands, you have to close the resulting frame with a transparent polycarbonate dome. The process is simple, but requires a special approach. A very important point is the tightness of such a dome - when it is attached, it is necessary to use special turbo screws with washers and rubber gaskets. It is necessary to bend the polycarbonate very carefully and without sharp movements - there is always the possibility to break it.

That's basically all, we can say that the greenhouse with their own hands is ready. It remains to work for small - to collect efficient heating and lighting.

Heating of the greenhouse in winter, early spring and autumn can be organized in many ways - create a separate system of gas, solid fuel or electric heating, or connect the greenhouse to the existing heating circuit in the house. The latter option is simpler and more economical - there is no sense in using two different heat sources for the same purpose.

Mini-greenhouse with their own hands, providing for connection to a home heating system, will require you to lay the street heating mains. The main task in this whole matter is to keep the coolant supplied to the greenhouse in an unchanged state - the pipelines will have to be properly insulated. For these purposes, it is best to use mineral wool - wrap it on pipes it will be necessary in several layers. Moreover, over the insulation for greater preservation of heat will need to reel and polyethylene. At the end of this "warm pie" is better to put more and in a protective casing, preventing mechanical damage to the thermal insulation of pipes.

As heaters for a greenhouse, you can use almost all known heaters - batteries, convectors, radiators. You can even weld tube registers yourself.

Everyone knows that normal growth of plants requires light that is as close to the sun as possible. In this respect, ordinary fluorescent lamps are best suited - they need to be installed on both sides of the greenhouse with practically no gaps. Only in this way it is possible to achieve a qualitative and uniform illumination of the entire interior space of the greenhouse.

Well, in conclusion, we recall that growing plants in a greenhouse is very different from caring for an ordinary garden in the summer. It is necessary to maintain a certain temperature, light regime, soil moisture - in general, it is a troublesome business and requires knowledge of certain technologies.
