In order to install the canopy, the following materials will be needed: polycarbonate sheets, drill, shovel, tape measure, thermowells, level, bolts, profile pipes and tools for the foundation. The first step is to install the support racks for the canopy. For them, they dig a pit with an approximate depth of 100-150 cm. There, supports are installed and concreted. Moreover, the distance of the racks from each other should not be more than 2 meters.
If the canopy is built above the pool, then they are additionally waterproofed. A foundation is needed so that the whole structure is firmly on the ground. At the second stage, the installation of transverse supports begins. In fact, they have the appearance of bent pipes, which are connected together by means of spacers. They are bent in this way so that the canopy itself has an arched shape.
The next step is to apply the honeycomb polycarbonate, that is, to the skin of the frame. It is best to use a sheet of medium thickness of 6-8 mm. If the material is too large, it is cut using a normal hand saw. Next, the sheets are placed on the supports of the canopy and fastened with thermowells. The edges of the ramps for sealing need to be glued with a perforated tape.
