If you want to connect a three-phase motor through a 220 volt magnetic starter motor, you need to perform the commutation using the following wiring diagram:
CUsing the three buttons on the control panel, you can arrange reverse rotation of the motor.
If you look closely, you can see that it consists of two elements of the previous scheme. When you press START, the contactor KM1 switches on, closing the contacts NO KM1, becoming self-picking, and opening NC KM1 excluding the possibility of switching on the contactor KM2.When the STOP button is pressed, the chain is disassembled. Another interesting element of the three-phase reversible wiring diagram is the power section.
At the contactor KM2, the phases L1 to L3 are replaced, and L3 to L1, thus changing the direction of rotation of the motor. In principle, this control circuitry of three-phase and single-phase loads covers the home needs with a head, and is easy to understand. You can also connect additional elements of automation, protection, limiters. Consider them all you need separately for each particular device.
With the above diagram of the connection of the magnetic starter, it is possible to open the garage door by introducing additional limit switches into the circuit by using the NC contacts in series with NC KM1 and NC KM2, limiting the movement of the mechanism.
