How to remove the mode switch

Put the punch unit to one side, remove the mode switch pos.832.

First turn the switch to the "Drilling" position, with a screwdriver, push it all the way to the end of the switch button( it's red) and turn the switch counterclockwise to an angle of 70º.

Wiggle the switch handle, pull the switch handle out of the housing.

First you need to disassemble the Bosch punch before the intermediate shaft. The disassembly procedure is given above.

Removing the intermediate shaft, you will reach the "drunken bearing".On the destruction of the rolling element bearing indicates a broken cage, scattered balls, pieces of cage.

Remove the bearing, remove dirt, all parts of the destroyed mechanism.

Buy a new "drunken bearing", and, greasing all parts with new grease, make a replacement and assembly, in a sequence, reverse the steps of the disassembly.

To remove the stator, it is enough to remove the protective plastic protective cover, and knock with a wooden blank or kiyankoy along the end face of the housing into which the stator is inserted. Before this, do not forget to unscrew the two screws holding the stator in the casing.

The stator is removed, the rotor is pulled out, it is possible to overstep the inspection and defect of all the parts that make up the electrical part of the Bosch perforator.

When inspecting the disassembled perforator Bosch 2-26, pay special attention to the state of the carbon brushes, the impact on the brush holders and the reliability of their fastening, the integrity of the reverse switch contacts, the condition of the wire at the entrance to the punch.

The length of the brushes should not be shorter than 8 mm. On the brush holders there should be no signs of sparking and charcoal dust from the brushes, there should be no burn-out or damage to the contacts on the contacts of the reverser switch of the Bosch 2-26 perforator.
