Protecting your home from the cold can be done from the inside and from the outside. The first type is recommended to be executed immediately after buying an apartment. This will in the future avoid problems with the operation of the new building. Proper insulation of the walls of the apartment from the inside is carried out on a fairly simple scheme, but it has certain features. Any owner can perform quality work. Preparation of the frame
Qualitative insulation of the walls inside the apartment is made with the help of mineral wool. This raw material is harmless, environmentally friendly and fire resistant. It will be under two layers of plasterboard. For attaching sheets, you will need to mount the frame.
The initial task is to sketch the perimeter of the profile structure with a minimum indentation from the relief protrusions in any part of the wall at least 1 cm.
A guide profile is mounted along the perimeter. Every 40 cm on the floor and ceiling are made identical marks under the racks. And approximately with a gap of 70 cm along the rack profile, starting from the floor, a mark is made, the horizontal upper and lower guide profile.
It will be attached to the suspension. They will allow correct alignment of the carcass: after the wall is insulated in the apartment, it is necessary to achieve the ideal evenness of the plasterboard surface for its simple finishing. Suspensions are installed on the mark, securely fixed in the wall under the racks. Detailed photos will help to understand in detail the work being carried out.
Alignment of the frame for drywall
From the error of the frame will depend on the type of wall in the room. Therefore, the performer should follow such instructions for complete alignment of the frame:
- Above the posts, stretch the strands along the horizontal marks.
- Push aside the rack sections so that they do not touch the level threads.
- First stand individually aligned under the threads, fixing it with the help of three hangers.
- Repeat for the rest of the racks.
- Evaluate the work, make sure to fix all the elements.
- Remove the thread strings.
Stacking insulation
With minimal costs to conduct internal insulation of the walls of the apartment and additional sound insulation can be using mineral wool.
It is installed in a lap under the frame. But you need to take into account the required thickness of the material, which will allow to sufficiently protect the room from cold and noise.
The final stage of wall insulation will be the installation of two layers of plasterboard. The first layer will be placed horizontally: the joint between the sheets should be located at the bottom of the wall. Each new sheet should have a smaller width, so that in the end it turns out a kind of ladder. The attached video will allow you to see the process of correct fixation and the location of jumpers for the second layer.
The face series of sheets is placed vertically. Drywall should be installed so as to avoid cross-like joints between two layers. Qualitative warming of the walls with their own hands on this technology will help to achieve maximum heat preservation in the room and avoid damage to the sheets when they are fixed on the profile in the weakest place: the joint of the factory edges.
The resulted scheme of warming of walls from within at observance of instructions and councils will allow to achieve good теплоизоляции and a soundproofing of a room. Even the owner of the apartment, who has no practice of repairing the premises, will be able to carry out the work. With careful preparation, the work will take about 1-2 days.
