If the water is still in the drum when starting the drainage or spinning mode, the problem is most likely not in the control unit but in the drainage system. This is not the worst case scenario, since it is much easier to clean up the formed blockage than to repair the electronic module.
First of all, it is necessary to check the hose, pump, filter and all other parts through which the water is drained. We check them for damage, blockages or foreign objects.
