According to its physical properties and the method of manufacturing, polypropylene is practically the same as polyethylene, which is familiar to each of us.
However, the difference here is that the first material is slightly less dense, but it is noticeably more thermo- and wear-resistant.
These two moments make it possible to actively use polypropylene pipes for the organization of cold and hot water supply systems.
In addition, it is appropriate to use such material for the arrangement of heating systems.
Today polypropylene pipes are traditionally supplied in the form of straight lengths or bays, the length of which can reach up to 12 meters.
It is clear that for the creation of modern heating systems and water supply systems such large pieces are not suitable, and therefore it is justified to have a need for cutting from polypropylene, and sometimes also for welding this material.
Which tool to choose - guillotine or scissors?
For the first mentioned operation, guillotines and shears for cutting polypropylene pipes are traditionally used.
As for the welding process, in this case a fairly cheap electric device is traditionally used, the work with which does not require special professional skills.
