Beginning of work, both for a single-pitched roof and for a multi-slope roof, follows from the measurement of skates, while their perpendicularity is taken from the eaves to the ridge.
As board material, boards of a certain size are taken.
In this case, both for a single-pitched roof and for a multi-slope roof there are certain rules that must be strictly observed in order to obtain a strong and reliable construction.
Those boards that go to the ribbed casing, as well as to the edges of the eaves, must be fastened above the others. All edges of the sheets of the roof should be covered only with a continuous skin.
Metal tiles must be started from the end sections. If necessary, overlap sheets, do it at the transverse boundary.

Technology of work execution
Immediately before laying sheets of metal tile with your own hands, you should follow the rules of the roof crate.

It is fastened to the crate with self-tapping screws with a step of thirty centimeters. If the roof structure has skate junctions with negative angles, then it will additionally be necessary to install valleys.
Mounting of the valley is carried out on the crate of a continuous type, with the boards to be laid on both sides. On the gutter obtained in this way, and installation of the valley on the self-tapping screws is carried out.
It should be borne in mind that the cornice board should end up under the edge of the bottom of the valley.

The self-assembly of the sheets begins with the end of the roof, and the direction can be selected as the right or left. Each subsequent sheet must lie on the extreme wave of the previous one.
