Step-by-step instruction

So, to make a solar battery with your own hands, you must perform the following actions:

• Cut a piece of copper from this sheet so that we can place it on a spiral of electric tiles. For a good result, we remove the cut piece from dust and dirt.

• Next, place it on the helix of the plate. In connection with chemical reactions, when heated, copper will change. That's when the copper gets black, count another 30 minutes, so that the black layer becomes thick.

• Then turn off the appliance. Let the piece, designed to make a solar battery with your own hands, cool down. Cooling, copper and copper oxide will shrink at different rates. Then the oxide peel begins.

• After waiting for the temperature of our part to drop to normal, room, we take my piece of copper with warm water. Do not scrape off the black residue of the oxide!
• Next, we begin to build a homemade solar battery without leaving home. Everything is very easy to do.
• Cut another piece of copper, corresponding to what we have already heated. Bending the 2 leaves so that they fit into the bottle, without touching each other, we catch the "crocodiles" to them, as shown in the photo below. Completing our process of manufacturing a solar battery on its own, we connect the cord from the untouched piece to the plus, and the cord of the processed one to the minus. Next, add a few spoons of salt in the heated water, and stir until the final dissolution. Then we pour the resulting solution into a bottle with pieces of copper, but not to the end. Leave about two and a half centimeters from the edges of the plate.

Charge the phone from the sun

Now we will tell you how to assemble a solar battery capable of charging a mobile phone. Producing a battery consisting of separate parts based on monocrystalline silicon, problems in soldering are not ruled out. If you are not sure that you can do everything yourself, better choose the modules already manufactured. Well, if they consist of ten monocrystalline elements, approach the size of your mobile phone and have a voltage of five volts.
Solar cells can also be found in calculators powered from the sun. In these devices, counting numbers are mostly amorphous elements, where the semiconductor layer is located on a small glass plate. Considering that modules of this type give about one and a half volts, we need four pieces with a serial connection. Do not forget to solder the positive terminal of the battery to the diode, which will be used as a valve, not allowing the battery to spend a charge through a solar battery. You can get the diode from the lantern board. That our invention served more reliably, we pour hot-melt cross-section edges of modules.
