Sturdy construction - strong foundation
Formwork creation is one of the most important processes in foundation construction. For its construction, boards or plywood are used. Mounting racks are installed, and, the smaller the step, the more reliable the whole structure will be. The boards are mounted on them, to which the supports are mounted on the outside in steps of 50 centimeters, and the spacers are fixed from the inside. It should be noted that they must be used even when assembling a metal structure, since without them concrete will crush the formwork.

To make the system more reliable, you need to know how to strengthen the formwork. For this purpose, a reinforcement with a cross section of 12 millimeters is placed on the bottom. From it you can make a frame. For this, several bars of reinforcement are connected by wire. This frame is installed in trenches on bricks, which are placed on the edge. This frame is necessary to protect the foundation from deformations and increase its resistance to soil displacements and temperature changes. At the organization of such design the risk of its breakage and, accordingly, necessity of repair is much reduced.
Sealing and repair of formwork
After reinforcing the formwork, it is necessary to check its evenness. It should have angles of 90 degrees and even walls. This factor is of great importance, because the uneven surface will create uneven pressure, and even externally the building will not look symmetrical. If you find such a problem, you need to know how to align the formwork. It is quite easy to do this. If there is a depression or bulging in the structure, then correct the support pegs, drive them closer or further. If the matter is in the unevenness of the boards, then replace them. If verticality is violated, also correct the stakes.
Separately it is necessary to say about the repair of formwork. Before casting concrete, carefully check it for damage. If there are cracked boards, then replace them, otherwise they will break down, and fresh concrete will spill beyond the boundaries of the structure. Also check the strength of all support pins, they should be firmly and firmly be driven into the ground. Pay special attention to checking the connections in the corners, if there are doubts in strength, then take all measures to strengthen them.
Important! To ensure that the pins are believed to be firmly hammered, deepen them at least 15 centimeters into the ground.
Waterproofing the foundation
Before starting the pouring of concrete it is necessary to make a waterproofing. The waterproofing of the formwork can be done in several ways:
- Stacking of the Euroruberoid;
- Installation of waterproofing penetrating action.
To begin with, consider the option without waterproofing. In this case, the foundation will occur fungus, mold, the walls will be wet, which is bad for health. This option, of course, is unacceptable. The second method is the laying of the euroburube. It is put on the bottom of the trench before pouring. After the foundation is ready, it is also smeared with resin and roofing material. This method is the most popular because of the cheapness, but it is not the most effective.
The third way is to use a waterproofing penetrating action. This method is more expensive, but it guarantees reliable protection against moisture for many years. This waterproofing is added to the concrete during its preparation and makes protection from moisture as if from the inside. Experts believe this method is the most reliable.
Note! The great advantage of isolating penetrating action is the absence of seams, through which sooner or later moisture will seep.
