The crusher stops under load: what is the reason and what to do

Sergey asks:

Good evening! Please tell me how to fix the problem... the fact is that I'm a complete zero in an electrician. I have a grain crusher 220V, motor 1.1 KW, 1350 RPM.

The motor is a capacitor (there were 6 capacitors in the box under the crusher). It stopped starting for the first time, the electrician threw out these 6 capacitors, and put one in another place. after a short period of time, the motor winding burned out (I rewound). And now (which is the question), after rewinding the engine, I assembled it myself (the electrician connected 3 wires), at the same time threw the whips during the assembly and put a new sieve without a hole "4".

All of it began to work, but... you fill up the grain (if the feed is open for the whole, and the feed is from above), the speed instantly drops and it stops. it works only when the grain feed flap is closed by 75 percent, but this is a VERY LONG CRUSHING AND NOT SERIOUS AT ALL! Tell me what to do?

Hello! To begin with, it is not clear whether the capacitor's capacity is correctly selected by an electrician? Did you rewind it correctly? According to the description, there is clearly not enough power.

The solution can be either by rewinding the motor again and choosing the correct winding parameters to provide more power, or replacing the motor, or changing the gear ratio.

But first, make sure that the capacity is selected correctly. And what happens to the engine temperature when it stops? Does it get very hot?

Do you have a belt drive there? Try to put other pulleys in order to lower the revolutions on the grain crusher - then the torque will be greater with the same engine power and it should not stop.
