RCD on the line with the computer: is it possible or not, will there be leaks

Kirill asks:

Hello. I read in the repair book, in the chapter of the electrician, that you should not put RCDs and difavtomats on the sockets to which the computer will be connected. It can provoke false triggering of devices, especially if the trigger threshold is incorrectly calculated. I want to ask your opinion, is it possible and necessary to put an RCD on a group of outlets for a computer, or is it better not?

Thanks in advance, best regards, Kirill.

Hello! Yes, that's right, if there is grounding, computers always leak to the ground, this is how their power supply works, you may have noticed that when there is no grounding, the system unit is shocked. This is where there is a leak to the ground.

Nevertheless, it is still necessary to install RCDs and difavtomats. Why give up electrical safety over a computer or lay a separate line for it? An RCD should not knock out from one computer (if it is for a leakage current of at least 30 mA). This problem is more likely to be relevant for large offices with a lot of computers.
